Welcome to the new Bloop web site

Hello again and welcome to the latest version of the Bloop web site.

As folks who have been following the progress of Bloop can tell you, this is the fourth web site design in two years. This is one of the downsides (or possibly upsides) of being a cartoonist who is also a web designer by trade. The main goal of the redesign was to present the pages of the story in a more interesting way – the previous approach was a simple, gallery grid. It pained me to put so many hours into each page only to see them presented like postage stamps. The new presentation is a bit more fun and works well with as few pages as we have at the moment and I have a path for tweaking the presentation as we add more and more pages.

There will be plenty of additional website changes in the coming weeks and the announcement of a new contest.

But now, I’ll be getting back to drawing the next page!
