Here’s a look at what Bloop looked like in the Galaxy-Sized Astounding Space Thrills comic published by Image Comics in 2002.

Here’s a look at the Bloop comic that came out in 2004…

It included an Astounding Space Thrills story as well as Bloop adventure. It uses the old, chunkier Bloop logo but Bloop himself looks quite a bit more like he does today.

Here’s another look at an early version of Bloop. This version was pretty similar to how he looked in the animated webisode version.

Baltimore Comic-Con 2001 badge/bookmark

This artwork was used as the badge artwork for the 2001 Baltimore Comic-Con. It was designed to double as a bookmark. This piece was illustrated in Macromedia Freehand with additional effects added in Photoshop. The version shown here was turned into large poster-prints. The final badge version used for the badges had a white box in that position for the guest to write their name.

Skinny Bloop and Astounding Space Thrills

This is an image from 2002 showing Bloop running with the cast of my sci-fi series Astounding Space Thrills. Bloop was still pretty skinny back then.
